It’s harvest time! Time to get the crop out of the field and in the bin.
Right now, is the time to start thinking about next year and how to establish a good stand at planting time. Many times, our #1 problem establishing even emergence is fighting residue from the season before and even two seasons ago. Consider spraying 1qt of D-Comp, a biological that helps the decomposition of stalks. I like to run it with 2-5 gallon of 32% (or 28%) and 1-3#’s of sugar to feed and keep the biology healthy.
